Institute of Europe concentrates on European studies:

  • Master's degree in International Business (European integration studies).
  • Modules for other University programmes at a Bachelor, professional studies' and Master's level.
  • Ph. D. research.

Institute of Europe concentrates on European studies

Lithuania is European Union member. This makes even stronger the demand of broad-minded, cultivated specialists with deep professional education and capable to work in the organisations and institutions related to European Union matters as well as to work in the institutions or to run business in the area. They are necessary for fast and sustainable development of the country.

Students are accepted by competition. They should have diploma of Higher education in the fields of social, natural, technological or biomedical sciences and be able to use Lithuanian as well as one foreign language.

The studies in European Integration provides the knowledge and training to make analysis of political, social, economical as well as technological processes of European and even global integration, enables to forecast the possible economical and social consequences of the integration and to adjust rationally the related activity. The special emphasis is laid on project management and perspectives of knowledge-based economy.

A graduate has comprehensive and relevant knowledge that has been accumulated within the European context and is related to management, business administration, economics, law and political science, is able to develop personal skills and competence by means of independent research within integration processes as well as apply the acquired knowledge in new situations while working individually in groups, or networks with experts of different scientific areas, and is ready to develop transferable and practical skills and apply them according the requirements of the workplace.

Graduates are prepared to work successfully in production, business, services and knowledge management field in the European Union area as well as in the administration institutions of the state and the European Union. Study programme enables students to make research in the relevant area and to prepare themselves to start doctoral studies.

The lectures are delivered by teachers from the university, partner-universities as well as prominent practitioners.

The programme is state-accredited, starts on September and lasts for two years. The main study languages are Lithuanian and English. Great possibility exists for academic exchange programmes.

Scientific degree of master of management and business administration is awarded after the successful studies.
